Opi Outhwaite is attending the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) Research Conference in Copenhagen. As part of the Special Interest Group on Business and Human Rights she will present the paper Human Rights in Global Supply Chains: Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Procurement in the European Union (Opi Outhwaite and Olga Martin Ortega)
Dr Olga Martin-Ortega has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the London Universities Purchasing Consortium(LUPC) and joined the Board in her first meeting this September.
The article 'Buying power and human rights in the supply chain: legal options for socially responsible public procurement of electronic good' (Olga Martin Ortega, Opi Outhwaite and William Rook) was published in the International Journal of Human Rights while Dr Opi Outhwaite's article titled 'Environmental Offences: Finally Making the Polluter Pay?' was published in the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law e-journal.
